Nature always surprises us in many ways. Every year, many wildlife enthusiasts and researchers find out something new about the animals and plants. While people might have heard of a two-faced snake, seldom would have even seen it in real. It's a rare occurrence. Similar, one might have a heard of a two-faced shark. However, this incident might sound strange, however, it stands true, as fishermen from Palghar have found a two-faced shark recently.

Reports state that fishermen in Palghar's Satpati village caught a two-faced shark, and photo of the same has been going viral on social media. The fisheries department was immediately informed by the group of fishermen. This rare type of fish was caught by Nitin Patil, a resident of the area, who said that he caught the same on Thursday.

The baby shark was six inches long and was trapped in the nets while he was fishing. Upon catching the fish, he realized that it was a rare fish, and so he dropped the same back into the sea. Officials are looking into the matter. 

Besides this, researchers at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute say this is the first case of two-faced sharks. Similar incidents were never reported before in the city. However, a few years ago, researchers from Mexico had found two-faced sharks.
