Two-hour traffic block on Mumbai-Pune Expressway on January 11

A two-hour traffic block will be imposed on the Mumbai-Pune Yashwantrao Chavan Expressway on Thursday, January 11.

On Thursday, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) will install a gantry on the Mumbai Channel under the Highway Traffic Management System at Km 9.800 (Panvel Exit) and Km 29.400 (between Khalapur Toll Plaza and Madap Tunnel). This work will be done between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm on Thursday. During this work, all light and heavy vehicle traffic on the route going towards Mumbai will be completely closed.

During this traffic block, light vehicles and buses going from Pune to Mumbai will divert from Khopoli Exit Km 39.800 and take National Highway No. 48 from Old Pune Mumbai Highway through Khopoli city and then on to Mumbai Channel via Shedung Toll Road. Whereas light and heavy vehicles going from Pune to Mumbai will divert from the last left lane at Khalapur toll naka from Khalapur exit and take National Highway No. 48 old Pune Mumbai Highway from Khalapur city further on Mumbai channel via Shedung toll naka.
