Chembur - A contractor has allegedly duped the BMC to the tune of lakhs of rupees. Sources say compound walls were built around a garden in MMRDA colony at Chembur Vashi naka recently, but it was later discovered that the contractor has built the new walls over the existing ones. Swati Dabde of the Shiv Sena has notified the BMC about this, but says the BMC has not yet responded. Dabde is now all set to file a police complaint.
