With the lack of customers in the market, the prices of vegetables have come down in the APMC market in Navi Mumbai

As a result, vegetable prices witnessed a decline by 50 per cent with cabbage is being sold at ₹10, cilantro at ₹6, cucumber at ₹6, tomato at ₹15 and milk at ₹12 per kg. Moreover, at least 622 vehicles have arrived in the Navi Mumbai APMC vegetable market today, November 20. 

As customers were not seen in the market during the festive season, the prices of vegetables witnessed a decline. For the same reason, vegetable prices have fallen by 50 per cent. Currently, more than 600 vehicles have arrived in the APMC market. However, despite the festivities, the market still has 40 per cent stock.

As per reports, currently, cauliflower is being sold at ₹8 to 10, cabbage at ₹8 to 12, chilli at ₹20 to 30, cucumber at ₹6 to 10 per kg, tomato at ₹15 to 20, brinjal at ₹15 to 20 and cilantro at ₹5 to 10, fenugreek ₹10 to 15 INR and spinach is being sold at ₹5 to 10.

In the past, the crops were heavily damaged due to the incessant rainfall back in September. With the downpour severely damaging the crops, the vegetables were earlier reportedly too costly or not of good quality.
