Attention! Water cut in Thane on February 1-2

Water is supplied through the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation in Mumbra, Diva, Kalwa, Majiwada-Manpada and Wagle (in some areas) Ward Committees in the Thane Municipal Corporation area. There will be no water supply from Thursday, February 1, 12.00 pm to February 2, 12:00 pm due to urgent repair work of Barvi Gravity Channel from Katai Naka to Kalyan Phata under Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation Water Supply Scheme. The water supply will be shut off for a total of 24 hours.


During the said shutdown period in all parts of Diva, Mumbra (except part of Ward No. 26 and 31) and Kalwa Ward Committee under Thane Municipal Corporation and Rupadevi Pada, Kisan Nagar No. 2 in Wagle Ward Committee, Nehrunagar as well as Kolshet Khalcha Village under Manpada Ward Committee will be completely shut down for 24 hours.

Citizens should please note that water supply will be at low pressure for the next 1 to 2 days after the water supply starts. Through the Thane Municipal Corporation, an appeal has been made to use water sparingly during the period of water shortage.
