Selected areas in Navi Mumbai, on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, will face water cut as the officials are planning to undertake maintenance and repair work of 100/22 KV sub-station at Bhokarpada Water Treatment Plant. This decision was taken by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company and keeping this in mind, water supply will have to be cut-off at Bhokarpada Water Treatment Plant.

As per reports, residents in Belapur, Nerul, Turbhe, Vashi, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli and Airoli under the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) will face water cut on Wednesday in the evening.

Further, the direct tap connection in the municipal corporation area and water supply to the Kamothe node in the CIDCO area will also be cut off during this period.

Officials have confirmed that the supply will be restored on Thursday, November 5, however, the residents will face concerns due to the pressure of the water. Citizens are urged to cooperate with Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) by using water sparingly during this period.
