Water supply affected in Mira Bhayander till 3 pm today

Due to heavy rains across Mumbai and Maharashtra, the water level has risen excessively in Jambhul, a large amount of floating debris has accumulated at all the inlet screens.

For the maintenance work, the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) will remain closed for four hours from 11.00 AM to 3.00 PM on Thursday July 7, 2022, for cleaning work and other repair work at all inlets from the authority.

However, owing to this, the water supply is running under low pressure at Mira-Bhayander. Hence, water supply will continue to be supplied from STEM authority unless water supply is restored from the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) authority.

Until then, Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has requested its citizens to use water sparingly and cooperate with the corporation.

For those unversed, it is pertinent to note that all citizens of Mira-Bhayander city is supplied with water by STEM authority and Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) authority.
