CST - Hundreds of eligible candidates staged protest against the civic body at BMC gate no. 6 for not appointing them even after passing the eligibility test back in 2009. These candidates have also warned the BMC administration of self-immolation as all their requests fell on deaf ears. All these candidates, from out of Mumbai also, have threatened the political parties to boycott the forthcoming municipal elections if a stand is not taken against injustice with Marathi people in government jobs, said one of the protestors, Vinod Ghadigaonkar.
