A police official who is a part of the probe said that the girl went to the railway station as she was travelling to another city to meet a friend. One of the suspects who is an auto-rickshaw driver (now arrested) told the girl that the train she is looking to travel from is not scheduled for the next day. Offering her help, he gave her a lift and also told her that he will help her find a place to stay.
