On Thursday, January 14, according to sources, in a drug raid, Mumbai Police seized 345 kilos of cannabis from Sakinaka in Mumbai.

Moreover, the man was arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances NDPS Act, 1985, as per the Mumbai Police. In addition, according to the police, they received information that a large quantity of cannabis was stored at Sangharshnagar, Chandivali, Mumbai in Thane border. A total of 345 kg and 525 gm of cannabis were seized by the police during a raid at Building K.90 / H, Sangharsh Nagar, Chandivali. The market price of this cannabis is INR 51,82,875. Moreover, Police have arrested Ashok Manik Metre and Jay in this case. The two have been booked at Sakinaka Police Station under Sections 8 (a), 20 (b) (1) (c) of the Anti-Narcotics Act as the police are investigating further.

On the other hand, after the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the search for drug cases have intensified. Currently, drug cases are rampant in the state. Sameer Khan, the son-in-law of NCP leader and minister Nawab Malik, has been arrested by the NCB in a drug case. Earlier, Rajkumar Tiwari, owner of the famous Muchhad Panwala, was arrested. On Monday, Komal Rampal, sister of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal, was questioned by the NCB. In recent developments, two places in Mumbai have been raided by the NCB.
