Kurla- This infamous pit of Kurla’s Hanuman nagar took away 6 years old life. Mohammed Ali least knew that he will never be able to see his parents again. While playing he accidentally fell into the pit and breathed his last in Rajawadi hospital. “It is almost one and half years this pit was created to build toilet. No security guard was hired to keep a tab on this pit. On Thursday morning, few children came running to me and told me that Mohammed fell in to the pit which is covered with muddy water. Locals pulled him out and was taken to Rajawadi hospital but was declared dead on arrival,” said Salim Khan, boy’s relative. Meanwhile, boy’s distraught father is demanding of action against the authorities concerned. “It was a large pit but there was no security guard. How negligent one can be? It cost my boy’s life. Whoever is responsible should be punished,” expressed Sayyed Rashid Ahmed, boy’s father.
