Mumbai- Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Ltd’s (MSRDC) Mum-Pune Expressway toll scam is very well known. MSRDC not only favours toll nakas but also food malls. Toll analyst Sanjay Shirodkar revealed that contract of Khalapur’s food mall is over, yet this mall is in working condition. "MSRDC was supposed to renew the contract but instead they are flouting the rules. Meanwhile, there is another hotel Pooja who owes Rs. 96 lakhs to the MSRDC. However, the latter is not taking any efforts to collect the dues," said Sanjay Shiordkar. Not only this, food malls have also encroached the space on which MSRDC is keeping mum. Shirodkar wants the state to take action against the guilty.
