Actress Jiah Khan's suicide case was heard in a special CBI court today. Her boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi was accused of provoking Jiah to commit suicide. Today the court has given the verdict in this case and Suraj Pancholi has been acquitted of all the charges.
The hearing in the Jia Khan suicide case was completed in the special CBI court. On April 20, a bench of Justice AS Syed reserved the final verdict after hearing the final arguments of both the sides. The court has given the final verdict in this matter today. After almost 10 years, the case has been resolved and actor Sooraj Pancholi has been acquitted of all charges.
"Suraj has been proved not guilty due to lack of evidence," said the special CBI court while pronouncing its verdict. Special Judge AS Syed gave this judgment considering the lack of evidence in the case.

The allegations were made by Jiah Khan's mother
Jiah's mother Rabia Khan had made many allegations against Sooraj Pancholi. He had also said that the girl had to suffer mental and physical torture.
According to Rabia Khan, Jia's murder was not suicide. On June 3, 2013, 25-year-old Jia's body was found in her Juhu's home. Rabia had filed a case against Suraj in Mumbai court. Based on her complaint, the police had also arrested Suraj. After that, the investigation continued for 10 years. The CBI had intervened in this case. Now after a decade, a court hearing was held and Suraj Pancholi was acquitted of all charges.
