AIU seize 4.7 kg drugs
Mumbai - On the intervening night of 04/05.01.2017, the officers of Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) Mumbai Customs intercepted passenger, Mr. Rabeekhan Abdullah holding Indian passport who was departing to Kuala Lumpur by flight no. MH 0187. The detailed examination resulted in the recovery of 2680 grams of methamphetamine and 2073 gms of ephedrine (total 4.753 kg of narcotic drugs). Said goods have been seized under the provisions of NDPS Act, 1985. The passenger has been arrested and will be produced before the Competent Court. Further investigation is underway. It was concealed in 15 roti makers having the false cavity and in such false cavities underneath aluminum foil plastic pocket containing crystalline powder was found.
