Amboli gang-rape: Accused get custody till Friday

Amboli - On Monday night, a 28 years old married woman was gang raped at Shyam Nagar area in Andheri. Amboli police have arrested accused in a few hours of crime and they have been given Police custody till 4th November.
This heinous crime took place on the night of Monday around 11.30 pm. The woman and her husband were looking for a home in Shyam Nagar locality along with a woman broker. As it was late, this woman asked the duo to stay at her place, to which they agreed. Meanwhile, they were attacked by eight young boys who allegedly gang-raped the woman by barging in to the house. Out of eight boys, four boys tied the husband and other four raped the woman. Amboli police have arrested accused under sections 116, 452, 341, 323, 504, 506 and 34 of IPC. Accused Rastail Sheikh (19), Nagesh Dhangar (19), Imran Shikh (23), Mohammed Khan (23), Rakesh Kher (21), Zahir Khan (23) and Ijaz Sheikh were produced in holiday court and were given Police custody till 4th November. One more accused who had managed to flee, is also caught by Police and he will be produced in the court on Wednesday, told ACP Arun Chavhan in a press conference.
