Security has been tightened outside Antilia, Mukesh Ambani's residence after the Mumbai Police received a call from a taxi driver stating that two people carrying a bag asked for his residence.

Security has been tightened outside Antilia, Mukesh Ambani's residence after the Mumbai Police received a call from a taxi driver stating that two people carrying a bag asked for Ambani's residence, stated reports. 

The Mumbai Police stated that they received a call from a taxi driver elaborating that two people with a bag asked for Ambani's residence, Antilia whilst recording his statement. Based on reports, a DCP level rank officer has been monitoring the situation. Therefore, security has been heightened outside Antilia with the CCTV footage also being checked.

Reports highlighted that police apprised the media on how they received a call from a taxi driver that two people came to him asking for Mukhesh Ambani's residence, Antilia. Apart from asking for the address they also had a big bag in their hand, post which the driver of the taxi promptly told the Mumbai police about the occurrence. 

The earlier investigation into the issue is still underway with reports claiming links to the police officer, Sachin Waze. Waze has now, not only been sacked but also been arrested for his links to the murder of Mansukh Hiren, the owner of the car. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) took over the investigation also found that Waze had attained the explosives and parked the car near Ambani's house, claim narratives. 

According to reports, the driver is at the Azad Maidan police station wherein his reply was being recorded. This year, on February 25, an unattended Scorpio was found parked near Antilia in Mumbai. Police later seized the vehicle with a note, gelatin sticks and fake number plates.
