Mumbai - Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu flagged off first Antyodaya Express. The Antyodaya Express is super fast train service for the commoners. The new train luggage is fully cushioned and will also serve as seats. The anti-graffiti coating on the doorways shields that trains will not get damaged. The train will also have bio-toilets for zero discharge of effluents.
Railways will start off the unreserved superfast train between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Tata Nagar. A hundred passengers will be able to seat in a single compartment. Across the nation, 54 unreserved trains will run on 8 stations from April.
