A correspondent of city daily DNA, Sudhir Suryawanshi and his friend Santosh were attacked by a group of assailants when they were in Kharghar for some work today around 1 pm.
The assailants allegedly punctured the tyres of the Swift vehicle belonging to Santosh Fatate, in which both had driven down from Panvel. After the attack, the assailants fled the spot on their motorcycle. Sudhir and Santosh now are recuperating in the Medicity hospital at Kharghar. An FIR was registered in the case following the visit of senior police officers to the site.
