Police raid a bar in Mumbai; find two bar girls hidden in the toilet’s cavity

In spite of the ban on dance bars, many of them are still operating illegally in Mumbai. A similar illegal dance bar in Mumbai was exposed by DCP Shivdeep Lande and his team in a raid. On Saturday night, DCP Shivdeep Lande and his team raided Kalpana bar in Grant Road where two dancers from South Mumbai were found hidden in the toilet’s cavity. 

The raid was carried out following a tip-off about Kalpana bar.

During the raid, the team arrested 18 customers, nine waiters, both cashier, and manager. The team also rescued 12 bar girls, of which two were found hidden in the bar's toilet cavity. Along with this, the cops also seized ₹84,000 in cash.

Previously, on May 26, 2018, 50 people were arrested including 46 customers from Dahisar’s Sharmili bar where the bar management had hidden 11 women in a concealed cupboard.
