Khadakpada - A fire broke out in unauthorised shanties around 4 am on Thursday in Khadakpada, Malad east. 10 fire engines were rushed to control the fire. No casualties was reported in the incident. This is not the first time that the shanties have witnessed a blaze; a fire had broken out in the area last year as well. However, the civic authorities are yet to either regularise or take any action against them.
