An old woman's dead body was found in Thane's Upvan lake on Monday morning. The woman's name is Sulochana Khochre (67) and the Vartak Nagar Police is investigating the matter.
The disaster management department of the Thane Municipal Corporation received information about the body of a woman floating in the Upvan lake. Accordingly, the team rushed to the spot and pulled out the body from the lake.
The team has received information that this body belongs to Sulochana Kochre and she lives in Shastri Nagar area. The matter has been registered in the Vartak Nagar police station and investigation is underway by the police.
