Veteran Bollywood playback singer Udit Narayan has been allegedly receiving threat calls from notorious gangster Ravi Pujari since the last one month. He had lodged a complaint at Amboli Police station two weeks ago and they have further handed over the case to the Anti Extortion Cell (AEC).

Location of The Call is Traced in Bihar
The caller has been traced from Bihar and hasn't demanded money yet but has called Narayan thrice where he has been verbally abusive. According to the police, the number was of a watchman from Narayan's building but he claimed that his phone was stolen when he had gone to Bihar.
Police Investigation
Amboli Police Station and AEC are conducting a parallel investigation in this matter. As stated in Mid-Day, Police have claimed that it must be a fan and there's nothing serious about the case. Senior Police Inspector Bharat Gaikwad from Amboli Police station said that the security around Narayan's house has been increased with police being deployed in civil clothes.
Exclusive Conversation with Mumbai Live
Notably, in an exclusive conversation with Mumbai Live, he said that the caller was gangster Ravi Pujari and he has been threatening him. The first call was a month ago followed by July 13 and July 23.
