Builder stabbed to death

Oshiwara - Builder and proprietor of Reliable Construction Company, Ali Asgar Bhanpurwala, was murdered by unidentified person. Even Ali Agar’s wife was attacked but she escaped the threat to her life.

According to the sources, the incident took place in the morning around 8:30 at the residence of the victim on the 15th floor of Iris Park building in Oshiwara. Someone knocked the door, when victim’s wife opened the door she saw someone standing with his face covered. The culprit attacked her and when Asgar Ali Bhanpurwala (38) came out of the house the person stabbed him. According to the police sources, the attacker was Ali’s wife’s first husband. This attack also raises question on police as Amboli police station is just 50 meters away from the crime spot. Asgar lost his life on the way to hospital. Asgar’s wife also sustained injuries and is reported to be critical.

Accused Umar Shaikh is absconding. Local police and crime branch are searching for the accused.
