Cab driver arrested for stalking producer Ekta Kapoor

As per a report in a leading portal Sudhir who is a taxi driver from Haryana, apparently stalked Kapoor 30 times in recent months, because he wanted to get a job in the producer’s company.

The 32-year-old man Sudhir Rajendra Singh who was reportedly accused of stalking Ekta Kapoor has been arrested by Amboli Police. As per a report in a leading portal Sudhir who is a taxi driver from Haryana, apparently stalked Kapoor 30 times in recent months, because he wanted to get a job in the producer’s company.

Ekta did ignore him many times, but Singh persisted and followed her around the city. A police officer quoted, “A few days back, when Ekta had gone to visit a temple in Juhu, Singh followed her there also and tried to approach her but was caught by her personal guards and he was warned to stay away from her.”

Police have also revealed that the accused also took the membership of the same gym that the producer goes in Andheri West. On Saturday evening Sudhir tried to sneak into the gym whilst Kapoor was working out, however, her security guards caught him.

On Monday, A formal complaint was lodged against Singh who was later arrested. “We have registered the complaint under section 354 (D) of the Indian Penal Code and with the help of CCTV and some technical evidences, the accused was traced from Andheri West Veera Desai road. The case is under investigation,” said the police officer.
