Byculla – Byculla police have arrested two persons and seized 1.070 gram charas worth Rs 1.07 lakh from them on Monday. According to information, Mohammad Babu Nurulla Khan (26) and Mohammad Javed Savar Shaikh (29) are the names of the accused while one accused is reported absconding in this connection. Police had received a tip-off about this deal that was to take place at Barrister Nath Pai Road in Byculla. Police had laid a trap and three persons loitering in a suspicious manner. When police asked one of them, two others started to flee but were finally arrested. When he was searched thoroughly, police found the charas in huge quantity and seized the narcotic substance from them.
