Vikhroli- A women named Pushpa Kataria had abducted a 5 years old boy (Rushab) from Tagore Nagar in Vikhroli and asked for extortion money from the child’s family.
Pushpa knew Rushab as they were neighbours at Tagore Nagar, Vikhroli. After watching a crime show on TV, Pushpa prepared her plan of abducting Rushab, as he was an easy prey. After kidnapping the child, Pushpa called his father and asked for Rs 2 lakh. After trying hard Vikhroli police managed to arrest Pushpa. Assistant Commissioner of Police, JD More said that Pushpa wanted to marry her boyfriend for which she needed money, for which she kidnapped the little boy.
