The International Judicial Court (ICJ) has stayed Kulbhushan Jadhav’s death sentence awarded to him by a Pakistani military court on the charges of spying. India had appealed against this decision of Pakistani military court on May 8, for which the hearing of the court will happen on 15 May.

While everyone is breaking for a celebration over this decision in the country, CM Devendra Fadnavis has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on the behalf of the people of Maharashtra. The CM paid his gratitude to both in a program organised in Sion in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Kulbhushan Jadhav was arrested in Pakistan in March 2016 for working for RAW.
