Mumbai- Monorail station and Wadala truck terminus near the carshed under MMRDA jurisdiction will soon be developed as the commercial hub alongwith residential projects.
According to the sources, MMRDA has started work on the plans and proposals for this hub.
Earlier too there was a serious thought given to creating a commercial hub at the Wadala truck terminus, but it ran into technical glitches due to which the commercialization was put on hold.
But now with the new move, MMRDA would like to speed up the work so that there will be light at the end of the tunnel for the commercial hub.
