On Sunday night, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva activists killed Congress party worker Manoj Dubey over an argument related to a Facebook post. He was murdered in the Asalpha area around 2:30 in the night. In connection with the same, Sakinaka police arrested BJP Yuva activists, Sunil Dubey, Umesh Singh, and Aakash Sharma.

A controversial post regarding Congress MLA Naseem Khan was posted on Facebook. Dubey was requesting the owner who happened to be associated with BJP, to delete the post. This led to a scuffle between the duo and both met at Asalpha. Around 2:30 in the night, Dubey was attacked with swords. He was admitted to Rajawadi Hospital in critical condition. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival.
It is believed that BJP Yuva activists, who have been arrested, knew Dubey. Police are investigating further to know more details.
