An incident has come to light from Mumbai where the court imposed a fine of three crore rupees on the husband for calling his wife 'second hand'. The wife had filed a complaint against the husband under the Domestic Violence Act. The court gave this decision during the hearing of this case. The exact date of this incident is not clear. According to the wife, her husband always referred to her as a 'second hand' as she had a second marriage.

According to a report by First Post, a woman in Mumbai filed a domestic violence complaint against her husband. She had said in this complaint that she was being tortured mentally and physically by her husband. She had also mentioned in the complaint that since it is her second marriage, her husband always treats her as a 'second hand'. After the woman's complaint, a hearing was held in the Metropolitan Magistrate's Court. This time the court ordered that the accused husband should pay compensation of INR 3 crore to his wife.


Meanwhile, the number of disputes between wives for trivial reasons is increasing day by day. A couple of days ago, there was a fight between husband and wife over momos in Agra. After that, the wife filed a complaint directly at the police station. In fact, the wife had expressed her desire to eat momos to her husband, and the two had an argument when that desire was not fulfilled.
