Dangal actress Zaira Wasim shared an unpleasant experience of her journey from Delhi to Mumbai that left her weeping. Zaira has alleged that a man sitting behind her on flight tried to molest her.
Apparently, the man was fondling the actress’ neck while she was asleep. She tried to record the man’s actions on her phone but failed to do due to dim lights.However, the 17-year-old actress managed to get a screenshot of the man's activities. Zaira tried to seek help from the cabin crew but her efforts were in vain.In her Instagram story, she has also expressed her displeasure towards the cabin crew members.
After deboarding the flight, Zaira took to her Instagram account to share this horrifying experience. With teary-eyed, she spoke, "I ignored it the first time. Blamed the turbulence for it but It went on for '5-10 minutes' and that the man couldn't sit like a civilized human beingThis is not done, I am disturbed. Is this how you're going to take care of girls? Who is going to help us Girls? If we don't help ourselves, nobody will come ahead."
Replying to the actress, Air Vistara, in a reply, said that an investigation is on.

Supporting the actress, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti tweeted,“Any harassment/crime against women shld (should) be dealt with swiftly & (and) effectively.As a mother of 2 (two) daughters I am appalled at what happened with @zairawasimz. Hope relevant authorities take strict action.”

Replying to CM Mufti’s appeal, Mumbai Police said that they have started the investigation process and will be soon registering the case, “Mam, we have recorded the statement of @zairawasimz and registering an offense accordingly.”

As per the latest update, the case has been filed at the Sahar Police Station, Mumbai against an unknown person under section 354 and POSCO act as the actress is minor.
