After going missing for 12 days from Vashi, the dead body of a Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) scientist’s son has been discovered by the police. The report for the 17-year-old missing boy was filed with Navi Mumbai’s Vashi police station.

Vashi police had registered the case under kidnapping along with section 363 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and started investigating the matter.

During the search, police found the dead body of the boy – Naman Dutt – at Sagri beach. During the investigation, the police found that Naman Dutt’s mobile phone was switched off after he went missing on September 23.

Coastal police informed that the dead body was found in a pity condition. However, after the postmortem, the doctors claimed that the boy died due to drowning as there were no external injuries on the dead body.
