Den of drug addicts, drunkards destroyed

Bhandup – The BMC has demolished a den of drug addicts and drunkards near Shivai Vidyamandir here. It was an iron container of BMC which was turned into the den by some anti-social elements. Many times, local residents had registered their complaints in this regard but the civic administration and police department had neglected their concerns. Finally, the efforts of residents bore fruit and finally civic officials demolished the container with the help of a gas cutter. According to engineer Baban Jogdand, the BMC will build a civic chowky at this place.
