Mumbai - Land developer Gurunath Phondekar is been arrested by economic offence wing regarding new D.N. Nagar project which is pending since 11 years. He is the director of Vaidehi Akash Pvt Ltd.Without having commencement certificate for the project he has allegedly sold some flats and shops to businessman Dharamshi Patel. Dharmashi Patel paid Rs 7,70,00,000 for this deal and when he realised that Phondekar has done this deal without proper permission he filed a complaint against Phondekar at D.N. Nagar police station. Phondekar was arrested on 15th November and was subjected to police custody till 21st November .
