Dilapidated buildings- A hotbed for anti-social elements

Antop Hill- Residents of CGS colony in Antop Hill have complained about the bad condition of the buildings to the Central Public welfare Department.
The buildings in the CGS colony are of more than 20 years old and in the dilapidated condition which can turn out to be fatal. And due to the bad condition, the building compound have become juncture for the dopers and other anti-social elements.
Even people from the nearby slums come and commit non-social activities in this buildings.
On complaints to the CPWD, an action was taken against the illegal and unauthorised activities but any firm decision for the condition of the building was not taken.
On this CPWD Engineer, Bhushan Bhende said that they have demolished 2 building which was in dilapidated condition. And the remaining building will be demolished in coming days. But after the demolition process, the new building will be constructed or not it is yet not clear.
