Dharavi- On Tuesday morning, Mahesh Gujlappa Balmanoor (35) committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence. He was residing at Dharavi’s PMGP colony’s 4-B building. He committed suicide in the wee hours of morning when everyone was sleeping. When his daughter woke up in the morning, she saw his body hanging and informed other family relatives. Dharavi Police then took the body in custody and was sent to Sion hospital for PM. Mahesh was earning money by doing odd jobs and was supporting his family. Few months back,MHADA demolished Mahesh's shanty giving the reason of inappropriate documents. Post this incident, Mahesh got upset and decided to end his life.
