Pratiksha Nagar- Wadala TT police has nabbed a trio in less than 24 hours, who beat up a jewelry shop owner for extortion. Tyagraj aka Tyagi, Arvind Joshi, are behind bars while the third suspect was let go for not finding any evidence against him.
On Sunday night, the duo beat up the jewelry shop owner at Pratiksha Nagar. When Wadala TT police got the complaint, the accused went hiding. While searching the accused, police took Tyagi’s mother and friends under custody on 10th January who revealed about his whereabouts. Following the lead, they reached Santacruz but Tyaagi got the news and ran away to Bandra. Finally, police laid the trap and caught him at Chembur and the other accused at Sion’s Cinemax theater. The third accused was a minor who was caught from the home but was let go.
