FDA officer caught accepting Rs 40k bribe

Mumbai - Food & Drug Administration’s (FDA) assistant inspector was caught by Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB). On 14th September, ACB caught Pradip Mundhada red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 40k. The matter dates back to 2014 when FDA raided Bandra's chemist shop and got to know that there was no pharmacist. During the investigation, Mundhada asked for Rs 40k from the shop owner. He then went to ACB & yesterday while accepting this bribe, he was caught. Mundhada was enquired by ACB officials in past as well.
