FDA seizes adulterated 'Khawa'

Mulund - During Diwali festival, many sweet vendors sell adulterated sweets. On the backdrop of which, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) seized 1 thousand and 500 kg of ‘Khawa’ and has sent it for the further investigation. Mulund resident Adv. Devendra Patil reported about one suspicious tempo that did not pay toll at Mulund check naka. He immediately informed FDA officials who took action against the truck and seized the adulterated Khawa. Patil has urged the FDA officials to take action against offenders who sell adulterated sweets.
