A person named Manoj Maurya was killed on Friday in a shootout at Dadar’s flower market and it is being said that the murder was pre-planned. The incident happened in the morning around 6:15 AM.  

Manoj worked at Dadar’s flower market selling flowers for many years. Later, he started his own business of supplying electronic weighing machines. Manoj was shot at by two people riding on a bike at 5:00 in the morning at Senapati Bapat Marg (Road). The shooters were coming from Parel towards Dadar.

After hearing the shot, the people around the crime spot gathered and rushed Manoj to the nearby KEM Hospital. However, Manoj died during treatment. Senior inspector Diwakar Shelke informed that the Dadar Police is currently investigating the matter and is examining the CCTV footage to get further leads.
