Juhu - Attacks on traffic cops have become quite common in this heartless metropolis.
The latest in this line seems to be Bollywood producer Firoz Nadiadwala's bodyguard who attacked a traffic cop on duty in Juhu on Thursday. The incident took place at 7:30 pm on Juhu Tara road when Nadiadwala's Scorpio was double parked causing heavy traffic congestion. Police constable Babu Patil asked him to move away from the car, to which an argument started between the bodyguard and constable. The bodyguard, identified as Samar Bhai Khan started fighting with him and attacked him. Police say that during the fight, an e-challan machine and a mobile phone belonging to the constable was broken. The Juhu police have registered a complaint against the bodyguard under section 353 of the IPC. The investigation is on.
