If you are a local train commuter, you might have come across those irritating skinny daredevils leaning out of trains and trying to be 'cool'. However, soon the hooligans doing stunts in Mumbai local trains will be penalised as Railways recently announced that these daredevils will have to face five-year imprisonment if found guilty.
The Railway Police Force will take action in accordance with the new clause which provides a five-year sentence to the people found guilty doing stunts.

Therefore, the rail officials will take action against the defaulters under Section 153 which states that if any person is found doing 'dangerous', life-threatening stunts, then that person will be charged with a five-year imprisonment sentence.
Majority of the defaulters have been found doing stunts on the Harbour line. However, there have been some instances at Central Railway's Kalyan, Dombivali, Mumbra, Diva, Bhandup, Mulund, Thane among others.
