Santacruz - A passenger traveling from Abu Dhabi, Abdul Rashid Kasargoud was arrested by the central excise duty department at Mumbai international airport. Foreign currency worth Rs 29,73,842 was seized from him. The excise department got a tip about smuggling in Air India flight flying from Abu Dhabi. Abdul Rashids movements were found suspicious so he was investigated. Upon investigation Saudi riyal worth 15,000 and Qatari riyal worth Rs 1,14,075 was found in his bags.
