Wadala- In an attempt to arrest a notorious gangster from Wadala east, a family of gangster threw stones on the police officials to foil the attempt at Wadala's Kokri Agar. One police constable got injured. Wadala TT police arrested the gangster along with the other three family members.
On Friday night, Wadala TT police got the news of gangster who robbed the man by showing him a sword. PSI Prakash Linge reached the spot with his team and arrested the accused Mohammed Sheikh. During interrogation, Sheikh informed police about his other accomplice Umesh Waghmare.
After getting the lead, on Saturday morning, PSI Prakash Linge and his team reached Waghmares house and asked him to surrender. But, the latter's family got hysterical and started throwing stones at police.
