Malad - The election is near and the code of conduct is in place, one just can not get away. Excise Department got an information regarding the illegal production of toddy drink (palm wine) in areas of Madh Island and Madh jetty in Malad. Around 4 am they raided few spots in Pascal Wadi and recovered litres of toddy from two people. Two people have been caught in the act. Excise Commissioner V. Radha, Sunil Chavan and Mahesh Jhagde caught two people with 209 litres of illegal toddy.
