There was a time when cricket fans used to rush to the cricket ground and used to steal stumps and bails. But this might be happening for the first time, when the crowd stole cold drinks!

On Monday night, October 29, after team India secured a 377-run win against West Indies in the fourth ODI, the crowd rushed in search of water near gate number 5 at the Brabourne Stadium. While some bought water bottles worth ₹20 for ₹40, majority of the crowd was left disappointed after knowing that there was no free drinking water for the fans.

When the crowd asked the vendor about water bottles, he mentioned that he only had cold drinks. This infuriated the crowd who further attacked the vendor and stole all cold drink bottles from the drum. Though police were present at the venue, they did not do anything to stop the chaos.
Meanwhile, after witnessing the chaos, CCI officials arranged for the water bottles (20 litres) which were given to the fans.
