A sensational incident has come to light in Dombivli. A young man asked a 25-year-old girl for marriage. But, she refused his proposal. Angry, the young man stabbed the girl on the neck. The young woman has been seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
The name of the accused is Jignesh and he lives in Deslepada area of Dombivali East. A young woman also lives in the same area. The young woman considered Jignesh as her friend. Jignesh had a one-sided love for her. On April 14, the young woman was going on her way home alone. When she reached the road near Ved Om Shanti Society in Shantinagar area of Dombivli East, suddenly Jignesh appeared. He proposed to her on the street.
“I love you so much. If I marry, I will do it with you", said Jignesh to the young woman. The girl rejected his proposal. Out of this anger, Jignesh stabbed the girl on the neck and ran away. As soon as the information about this was received, the officials of Tilak Nagar police station reached the spot.
The police admitted the girl to a hospital in Dombivali. But, she was shifted to another hospital due to serious injuries. Currently, the girl is undergoing treatment and her health is said to be stable. The police have detained the accused Jignesh. Police are investigating further.
