Jogeshwari - Jogeshwari has become the fortress of thieves. With every passing day, theft cases have been rising. The areas which have witnessed an incident of theft are Shyam Nagar, Sarvoday Nagar. On 10 December, six cases of theft occurred in a day at different places.
Mobile phones, valuable items, jewellery, were stolen from the houses where the theft took place. The complaint was filed in Meghwari Police station. Police inspected the area with the aid of dog squad. Residents have demanded that CCTV must be installed at earliest to keep a track on the mischievous activities.
Shiv Sena MLA Ravindra Waikar conducted a meeting with police and assured that road lights will be installed. The growing activities have put police under question.
