Vinobha Bhave police arrested four thieves who are identified as Sanjay Mhatre, Rajendra Bansode, Suresh Mokashi and Santosh Jadhav. The incident took place on 2 May, wherein four thieves broke the lock and sneaked in the apartment of a businessman in Kurla.

Theft of Rs 1, 86,000 was carried out. Since there were no CCTV cameras installed in the building, it was hard for the team to nab the thieves. With the assistance of watchman of the building, police were able to catch the thieves.

We checked CCTV footage in the locality and found a red colour Swift car. The number plate was suspicious and we immediately looked for the owner of the car. Relatives of the owner cleared the air and assured that the car belongs to the owner stated Officer Ganesh Mohite.
