Demanding action against a female railway employee for beating a woman lawyer, the Railway Claims Tribunal Bar Association has threatened to launch a stir and approach the court if Railways fails to take action in this connection.

On Monday night, railway officer Swati Sinha had allegedly beaten up woman lawyer Adv Delisle Fernandes in CST. The free style between these two women was recorded on camera and based on this video, a case has been registered against Swati Sinha in MRA Marg Police station.

As per information, Swati Sinha had sought removal of Adv Fernandes from the lawyers’ panel when she was handling the additional charge of the concerned department in 2015. Sinha herself was removed from her position and Adv Fernandes was taken back on the panel. Sinha might be having a grudge against Fernandes, beaten her up.

Sinha had earlier courted a controversy when she had refused to furnish an answer to an RTI query written in Marathi. She had to face the wrath of the MNS workers for her refusal.
